From 1940 to 1945 North American Aviation built the Texan advanced fighter trainer for the U.S. Army Air Force, the U.S. Navy and many Allied Nations. In the final phase of training advanced techniques and tactics were taught in the Texan. This was the last airplane that the fighter pilot trainees flew that had a second seat for an instructor.
Of course, the plane your looking at is a Blue core built plane made specifically for COMBAT!
Rockin Roller really went out on this build, as you can see its complete with paint and everything. What a fine build Job there RR!
The plane is based on the T6 Texan and is RR's own design. The first flight was on the 15th and she went up with virtually no trim, some adjustments were made on the amount of throw later but the plane flew perfect through its first few flights.
The plane is complete with:
GWS 8x6 Prop
Hobby Lobby Brushless outrunner motor
Pheonix 10 Speed controler
Futaba mini receiver
1320 Lipo batt
HS 55 Servo's
and 1 off brand servo for the rudder
Landing gear? We dont need no stinking landing gear.
This plane flies awesome, RR, Excellent Job and thanks for getting this together so quickly!
